The Mammillaria cacti are so cute. Out of the 175 different species worldwide, only 25 species are found in the Sonoran Desert. The Sonoran species are all less than 6" tall. I see them all the time at Saguaro National Park. I will have to visit the Desert Botanical Garden sometime to see all the varieties of desert plants from around the world. Great perspective, nature's abstract indeed. LF
